El Vocho #46

El Vocho looks a bit different this week, I'm going to post the story without image edits. I've usually trimmed stuff out that sticks in from adjoining panels (I have no desire to honor the panel borders).
The book is nearing completion. I'm trying to hit a gear where the pace picks up, so no more time wasting edits!
Sort of like when publisher Kitchen Sink was putting out their reprints of Steve Canyon by Milton Caniff, you could see where he'd drawn outside of the panel border and they left it in, it just looked brilliant, what a brush man ol' imperialist Milton was!

El Vocho #45

I brought a new large format scanner from the states to my studio in Mexico over the holidays. I'm excited about it, as it will help me put comics from my entire career back in print, including Bughouse, Dog Boy and more. It will take time to get everything in print, especially as I want to publish El Vocho first.
But I gotta say, the prospect of having it all available is thrilling. I mean, the Dog Boy book alone with be close to 500 pages of very unusual, highly entertaining underground comics!

El Vocho #44

Here's a couple more panels of El Vocho. Trying to get back up to speed after the holidays, problem is I'm obsessed with playin' guitar, gotta put the damn thing down and pick up the brush! Hey!
